Syllabus: Characterization of the radio propagation channel. Large-scale and Small-scale variations. Cellular concept. Interference. Digital communication techniques for wireless systems. Diversity techniques. Equalization. Performance analysis (capacity, BER, outage,...). Multiple access techniques. Spectrum Sharing. Mobile, cellular and personal communication systems.
